About Us

The Newburyport High School Baseball Alumni Association has donated more than $40,000 back to the program through the years. A partial list of contributions include:

• Donated more than $11,000 to rebuild the infield at Pettingell Park in 2014.


• Donated $5,000 for backstop removal and replacement in 2013


• Purchase, installation and maintenance of the electronic scoreboard


• Purchase of banners in High School gym displaying the various CAL Championships


• Annual NHS Baseball Alumni Association Scholarship


• Provided Trophies and plaques to players and alumni for their contributions going back to 1997


• Helped finance many trips to Cooperstown for the high school teams


• Sizable contributions to Arterial Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and the Paulhus Family


• Contributions to the program for bats and hats


• Financed major field upgrades in 2003


• Purchased new bases in 2015


• Provided money to annual Alumni game when needed
