NHS Wall of Famer Mark Rowe Clippers' New Head Coach

Newburyport High School Wall of Famer Mark Rowe (NHS ’79) returns to the Clipper baseball fold this season as head coach, succeeding Steve Malenfant (NHS, ’72), who retired after the 2015 season.

Rowe coached freshman baseball team under Bill Penttingell from 1985-1998 before taking over as head coach at Georgetown. Under Rowe, the Royals captured the 2009 Division 3 North Championship and the 2011 Division 4 North Championship.
